Applying for summer jobs will hopefully result in getting hired to at least one of the places you applied to. Once you are hired, it will provide experience in the workplace, along with new references and previous work on your resume.
Not only will it improve your resume and chance of getting a future job, you will also earn some money. With this money, you can do fun things and not have to rely on your parents to pay for them.
So instead of studying, why not apply for summer jobs?
Ha. I don't work. Silly Melissa. But if we were to, where do you want to work? Because that could be a fun way to spend the summer...
